Prochem’s
vertical-spindle Range

CONSTRUCTION

The CRP VS Series vertical Prochem pumps are of a seal-less design. Any pump components that may come into contact with the fluid being transported are made of synthetic thermosetting materials that are both corrosion and wear-resistant. They are capable of running dry indefinitely and require minimal maintenance and inspection. Suction lifts of up to 4m are attainable, depending upon product density, viscosity, and temperate.

APPLICATION

Prochem pumps offer an extended service life, even in adverse conditions when pumping aggressive chemicals.

MATERIALS

Prochem reinforces CPR, BR, BZ, BX, and BL synthetic thermosetting resins with various fillers to create extremely strong, lightweight, quiet, erosion- and corrosion-resistant, low-vibration pumps that can transport aggressively alkalic and acidic solvents and chemical slurries under adverse conditions over a temperature range of -20 to +120 ºC.

Moreover, these single-material pumps can be steam cleaned, do not support bacterial growth, and are non-magnetic, non-sparking, and non-galling. They generally outperform and outlast a variety of rival lined and unlined pumps made of engineered plastics – at a lower cost, especially when compared to expensive pumps made from exotic alloys such as titanium and Hastelloy.
